Penrith hooker's social media post draws NRL attention

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

The NRL is said to be working closely with Penrith as they investigate a social media post made by Mitch Kenny, the premiership-winning Panthers hooker.

According to a report from zerotackle.com, Kenny uploaded a photo of himself with the caption, "Couple Boxing Day lines have got me in trouble." The league has become aware of Kenny's image and is now looking into the matter, collaborating with Penrith to gather more information.

In a statement provided to WWOS, the NRL acknowledges the incident and states that they will be liaising with the club regarding the issue.

Penrith, on the other hand, have chosen to keep mum about the situation and refrain from making any public comments about it.
