Penalty for Luki: MRC lays down the law

Luki charged by MRC

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

Rugby League warrior Luki finds himself in hot water after being charged by the MRC, following a bone-crunching tackle in the 12th minute of Sunday's battle.

The officials initially missed the hit, but after a thorough review in the bunker, Luki was placed on report by the courageous warriors of the match.

This isn't Luki's first rodeo, it's actually his third offense, and this time it comes with a hefty $3000 fine.

A true warrior knows when to accept defeat, and with an early guilty plea, Luki can lessen the blow.

However, if he dares to challenge the charge and is defeated in the judiciary, he might find himself banished from the battlefield for two crucial battles.

Luki's moment of reckoning came in the 50th minute, when he was sin-binned by the fearless referee Gerard Sutton for a lifting tackle on Sitili Tupounia.

In the game of Rugby League, there's no room for mercy, and Luki will have to face the consequences of his actions like a true warrior on the field.
