North Queensland Cowboys head coach Todd Payten has confirmed that Griffin Neame should be fit to play against the Penrith Panthers in Round 5 of the 2025 NRL season.
Neame appeared to suffer from a hamstring injury during the Cowboys' recent match against the Canberra Raiders, with Payten describing his early exit as a "precautionary" measure.
Payten stated, "He has to train today, so it's precautionary.
We didn't put him back on because it tightened up.
We will see how he runs today, but we are expecting him to be fine." Neame is expected to recover in time for the upcoming game against the Panthers.
