Parramatta reward Tuivaiti's rapid NRL rise

NRL Rd 7 – Wests Tigers v Eels

Parramatta has retained 21-year-old Sam Tuivaiti on a three-year extension, keeping the forward at the club through the end of 2030.

He had been due to enter the market on November 1.

An Eels junior and Academy product, Tuivaiti was part of the club's 2023 SG Ball premiership side.

He represented Australian Schoolboys in 2022 and NSW Under-19s in 2023 and 2024, before making his NRL debut in 2025.

Across 14 appearances in 2026, he recorded 14 tackle breaks, 92 per cent tackle efficiency and an average of 85 run metres per game.

Eels general manager of football Mark O'Neill welcomed the deal.

"It's always incredibly rewarding when a player who has come through the Junior League and Academy commits their future to the Eels," O'Neill said.

"Just as importantly, Sam represents the Club values exceptionally well, and we're excited to see his continued development over the coming years."
