Panthers Lead; MVP Favorites Rise in NRL Finals

The Panther leads, yet top contenders for the overall crown are emerging in the Zero Tackle NRL finals MVP race. The standout Melbourne five-eighth and Brisbane fullback have both made significant contributions in their respective matches thus far. While Penrith winger Paul Alamoti currently holds the lead in the competition, he is set to miss the grand final, which opens the door for others to surpass him this weekend.

Munster excelled in a qualifying final against the Bulldogs, earning 17 votes, and followed that performance with an impressive 18 votes in the subsequent match, positioning him just one vote behind the leader. Meanwhile, Reece Walsh began his campaign perfectly against the Raiders and accumulated 11 votes against the Panthers, placing him four votes shy of Munster.

During the grand final qualifiers, one player stood out as a unanimous choice for man of the match. Payne Haas garnered all 20 votes for the Broncos, while Munster and the returning Jahrome Hughes shared the top honors for the Storm.
