Penrith Panthers have announced the release of their 2025 ANZAC Round Jersey, set to be donned in a fierce battle against the Sea Eagles on Saturday 26 April.
This special jersey is a heartfelt tribute to Penrith City Memory Park, honoring those brave individuals who have put their lives on the line for Australia and New Zealand.
The design of the jersey showcases the iconic memorial sculpture at Memory Park, a site where the Penrith community gathers annually for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service.
This sculpture symbolizes the Navy, Army, Air Force, Women's Royal Australian Naval Service, and the eternal flame.
With a backdrop of a rising sun and golden sky, reminiscent of the Dawn Services held at Memory Park and throughout Australia and New Zealand, the jersey also features traditional symbols such as a poppy and sprig of rosemary above the Panthers emblem.
The flags of both Australia and New Zealand proudly adorn the shoulders, along with a poignant inscription of The Ode of Remembrance on the lower back.
It's a jersey that not only pays respect to the history but also embodies the spirit of camaraderie and sacrifice that is synonymous with the great game of Rugby League.
So, gear up and get ready for an epic showdown as the Panthers roar onto the field in their 2025 ANZAC Round Jersey.
