The Penrith Panthers have announced their NRL development players for the 2024 season, as reported by penrithpanthers.com.au.

One of these players is Luke Sommerton, a 23-year-old hooker who has signed a development contract with the club.

Sommerton, who hails from the Hills District Bulls junior team, made his NRL debut for the Panthers in Round 24 of the current season, facing off against the Sea Eagles.

He then went on to feature in the final round clash against the Cowboys, where he scored his first NRL try.

Throughout the season, Sommerton has proven to be a valuable player for the club's NSW Cup side, showcasing his skills and adding depth to the NRL hooking ranks for the upcoming 2024 season.
