In a move that has had fans buzzing like bees in a honey pot, former Penrith Panthers fullback Jarrod Sammut has scored himself a new deal to keep chasing that Rugby League dream.

The last time he graced the NRL field was way back in 2009, but this seasoned player is not ready to hang up his boots just yet.

After a stint with Workington Town RLFC in the RFL League One competition, Sammut is now making a bold move back to the Bradford Bulls on a loan deal that will see him on the field until the end of the 2024 season.

Talk about a comeback story in the making!

During his glory days with the Penrith Panthers from 2007 to 2009, Sammut showcased his skills both at fullback and in the halves at halfback, racking up an impressive 38 games for the team.

Let's not forget his championship-winning leadership, as he captained the team to back-to-back Jersey Flegg Cup Grand Finals victories, including a memorable clash against the Parramatta Eels.

Hailing from the prestigious Patrician Brothers' College Blacktown, this 37-year-old veteran has left his mark on the international Rugby League scene with over 250 matches under his belt.

From slinging passes with the London Broncos to duking it out with the Wigan Warriors and Leigh Leopards, Sammut's journey through the sporting world has been nothing short of legendary.

With this new deal in place, who knows what amazing feats he'll achieve next in the Rugby League arena.

The thrill of the game awaits, and fans can't wait to see what this seasoned player has in store for us next.
