The prospects of Canterbury Bulldogs halfback Sean O'Sullivan joining the English Super League by the start of 2027 seem to be increasing, with connections to the Bradford Bulls.
O'Sullivan was first rumored to be heading to England a few weeks ago, but he stated that relocating wasn't on his immediate agenda.
This year has been challenging for O'Sullivan; while he has performed well when given the chance, he has mostly been sidelined or playing in reserve grade.
"I'm not really sure [where I'll be playing] to be honest," he remarked.
"Obviously I'm super happy here and I love being at the Bulldogs."
"That [the Super League move] was all news to me."
In July, it was reported that several clubs showed interest in him, but a new report from Love Rugby League indicates that the Bradford Bulls are close to finalizing his signing.
The Bulls are currently at the bottom of the Super League, and while this historically would have meant relegation, the league's new structure allows them to stay at the top level, with plans to play in Las Vegas next year-O'Sullivan was part of the Bulldogs squad that faced the Dragons this year.
The Bulldogs have recently shifted Stephen Crichton to the halves alongside Lachlan Galvin, suggesting that O'Sullivan may not have a starting position available, and it seems the Bradford move is gaining momentum.
