Lessons learned from last season have given Nicho Hynes the ability to shrug off the disappointment of missing out on the prestigious Origin series.

The Sharks are the ones benefitting from the setback, with Hynes showcasing resilience and a positive attitude in the face of adversity, much to the admiration of his teammates.

At Sharks' training session, Hynes displayed a cheerful demeanour despite taking a heavy hit from teammate Will Kennedy.

This demonstrates his determination to bounce back from being snubbed for the NSW squad in the recent game 2.

Last year's Dally M Medal recipient found himself replaced by Mitch Moses in the pivotal No.7 role for the crucial match in Melbourne, where the Blues suffered a resounding defeat and were left a man short.

The upcoming game against the Bulldogs presents Hynes with an opportunity to prove his worth once again, and his teammates are confident that he will rise to the occasion.

Despite facing a similar disappointment of being dropped by the Blues a year ago, Hynes is equipped to handle the disappointment with grace.

"I'm actually quite excited.

I have faith in Queensland pulling off the win," exclaimed Sharks winger Ronaldo Mulitalo.

"Nicho is here with us, and that's what truly matters.

Life isn't solely about wearing a Blues jersey.

There are bigger challenges out there."

"He's here to do what he loves, play footy, toss the ball around, and spend time with his mates.

That's the essence of life," Mulitalo added, embodying the camaraderie and spirit of the sport.
