The Roosters are set to face the newly reinstated Warriors in their first game back in the NRLW competition.
"Everything old is new again" as these two clubs meet again since their first encounter in the inaugural season of the NRLW in 2018, where the Warriors surprisingly triumphed over their Australian rivals.
Under the guidance of coach Ronald Griffiths, the Warriors have assembled a strong squad for this season.
However, taking on a "well-drilled and settled" Roosters side will be a significant challenge as the Roosters aim to start strong in their quest to defend the 2024 title.
The Roosters boast standout players including the reigning Golden Boot player of the year, Tarryn Aiken, in the halves, and the 2025 Dally M Medal winner, Olivia Kernick, leading their forwards.
While it will be tough for the Warriors, their history suggests that enthusiasm can be a crucial factor in their performance.
