NSW Origin coach Laurie Daley has announced his 20-man squad for the opening game of the 2025 Ampol State of Origin series, scheduled for Wednesday, 28 May, at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
Notably, Max King, a 28-year-old prop from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, has been named as a debutant on the bench.
Additionally, Penrith Panthers and Australian captain Isaah Yeo will lead the Blues as the 22nd player to take on the captaincy role.
The squad also includes three emergencies: Campbell Graham from the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Stefano Utoikamanu from the Melbourne Storm, and Haumole Olakau'atu from the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
