In a blow to the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, Haumole Olakau'atu is set to sit out the next two games after being slapped with a two-game ban for his involvement in the Origin Three melee.
Despite being a non-playing member of the Blues squad, Olakau'atu found himself in hot water with a Grade 3 Contrary Conduct charge for jumping into the fracas.
The tough second-rower, who had featured in the first two matches of the series for NSW, made the tough call to accept an early guilty plea to avoid a potential three-match suspension.
With the looming showdown against the Gold Coast Titans and the Sydney Roosters on the horizon, Olakau'atu will have to watch from the sidelines as his teammates take to the field.
But fear not, Sea Eagles fans, as Olakau'atu will bounce back stronger than ever when he returns to action against the Canberra Raiders at GIO Stadium on August 10th.
In the meantime, his absence will surely be felt on the field, but the team will rally together to overcome this setback and keep their finals hopes alive.
