The latest SuperCoach sensation, David Armstrong, has been knocked off his perch as the most popular buy of the week, with a flurry of other players now stealing the spotlight.

It seems the tides have turned following some key events on teams day.

Many are questioning whether Newcastle's rising star, David Armstrong, truly deserves all the hype surrounding him this week.

His main competitor as a budget-friendly option, Sua Faalogo, has surprisingly been named in the lineup despite a nagging knee injury (more details to come).

Armstrong, known for his flashy playmaking abilities, had a tough outing over the weekend, only managing to score 25 points against the Warriors.

It must be noted that the weather conditions were less than favorable, dampening any hopes of showcasing his backline skills.

With just eight runs in 80 minutes, there are valid concerns about Armstrong's performance, especially considering he racked up 17 runs the week prior.

Although his recent low score may have dimmed his shine a bit, he still boasts an impressive Break Even of -47 and is expected to see a hefty increase in value of around $70K this week.

In the unpredictable world of Rugby League and SuperCoach, it's all about seizing opportunities and making strategic moves to stay ahead of the game.

Armstrong may have had a minor setback, but with his potential and current form, he could very well bounce back stronger than ever.
