NRL Injury Update: Round 23

The Parramatta Eels have released an injury report concerning their NRL team in preparation for Round 23 against the North Queensland Cowboys.

Sean Russell sustained a fractured right hand during the first half of the game against the Melbourne Storm. Although he continued to play through the entirety of the match, Russell will undergo surgery today to mend a fractured second metacarpal. His recovery is expected to take between 4-6 weeks.

Additionally, Sam Tuivaiti has been diagnosed with a grade two medial ligament injury in his right knee, resulting in an estimated recovery time of 8-10 weeks.
