NRL Delivers: Dolphins Swim into Darwin Deal

LeagueNews.co | Jess Malloy

The Dolphins have secured a new agreement with the Northern Territory government to ensure an annual NRL game continues in Darwin, as reported by zerotackle.com.

This follows the conclusion of the Parramatta Eels' 12-year stint, where they hosted games in Darwin, most recently against the Canberra Raiders.

The Dolphins will now step in to fill this gap, committing to play one of their 12 home games in Darwin for the next three years-specifically in 2026, 2027, and 2028.

Currently, the Dolphins divide their home games between Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, where ten games are played, and Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe, which hosts two games.

CEO Terry Reader emphasized that this initiative presents a valuable opportunity for the Dolphins to engage with the Darwin community and expand their fan base in the Northern Territory.
