Apii Nicholls has been appointed captain of the Warriors as the team returns to the NRLW after a five-year absence.
The announcement was made during the launch of the Warriors' 2025 campaign.
Nicholls, a 32-year-old fullback, was a foundational player for the Warriors, debuting seven years ago and playing a pivotal role in their inaugural game, where they achieved a surprising victory over the Roosters.
She was the first player signed by head coach Ron Griffiths to reconstruct the team for their comeback, which will officially begin against the same Roosters team, the 2024 premiers, on July 6 at Allianz Stadium.
