Nicho Hynes is on track for a Rugby League comeback after being sidelined for eight weeks due to a major foot injury.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that Payne Haas may be making a surprise appearance for the Broncos in a desperate attempt to salvage their season.

Broncos coach Kevin Walters has included Haas in the squad for the must-win Battle of Brisbane against the Dolphins, led by Wayne Bennett.

The Dolphins are also taking a risk by including injured players Jeremy Marshall-King and Tevita Pangai Jr in their extended squad in hopes that they will be fit to play.

Haas sustained a foot injury in a recent game against the Titans, sparking concerns that he may be out for the rest of the season.

However, with the Broncos fighting for a spot in the top eight, Walters is willing to take a chance and unleash the 118kg powerhouse against the Dolphins.

In a bold move, both teams are making strategic decisions in a bid to secure their spots in the finals.

Fans can expect an intense battle on the field as these Rugby League titans face off in a crucial match at Suncorp Stadium.
