Newcastle tattoo artist Dave Ross has cancelled all his appointments this week to make room for Knights fans seeking commemorative tattoos.
He says he "can't keep up with the demand".
Sunday's victory over Penrith secured a grand final against the Sydney Roosters, ending a 25-year wait that included five wooden spoons.
Knights lock Mat Croker described the team's reception in Newcastle that day: "People were waiting in the rain for the bus and there were fans just losing their minds."
"They followed us back to the centre of excellence, where there were hundreds and hundreds of people waiting for us."
"The vibe around town has been so good, everyone's really pumped."
Forward Pasami Saulo remembers Newcastle's 2016 season, when the team won only once and finished last.
"It was a tough period and it hurt that we went through all those things," Saulo said.
"I'm only imagining how it could be (if we win), I feel like the town will go crazy because this town is such a footy town."
"Seeing what they did last week was unreal. I can't even put into words how it was, seeing it you got emotional because it was such a great feeling."
