James Fisher-Harris will be available for New Zealand's World Cup final after receiving a warning over a dangerous-contact charge.
The captain was placed on report for raising his knee into Solesi Foketi's head during a hit-up in the 12th minute of Saturday night's semi-final.
The match review committee issued its decision Sunday morning; a second offence would bring a ban.
The World Cup has no fines, and first-time offences draw warnings, while the same incident in the NRL would have resulted in a fine.
Journalist David Riccio said on Channel 7 on Saturday night:
"I've seen throughout this World Cup it's very much leaning (towards) a more lenient approach than what we're seeing in the NRL season itself."
Fisher-Harris is a key part of New Zealand's forward pack ahead of next Sunday night's final against either Australia or Samoa.
Roosters forward Naufahu Whyte is in doubt after an ankle injury limited him to 13 minutes against Tonga.
Roosters coach Trent Robinson said Whyte expects to be fit, and Riccio described his not returning to the field as precautionary.
Xavier Willison passed a head injury assessment and returned to play, while Kalyn Ponga completed his return uninjured 23 days after breaking his forearm in the tournament opener against Australia.
