New signings hoping a golden opportunity awaits with Titans
As part of Gold Coast's fresh roster, Lachlan Ilias and Max Feagai are optimistic that their relocation will enhance their playing prospects for the upcoming season.
Ilias, a halfback, and Feagai, an outside back, began pre-season training last week under the guidance of Coach Josh Hannay at their new club. However, they are aware that substantial challenges lie ahead as they strive to secure their preferred positions.
Having transferred from the Dragons after his start with the Rabbitohs, Ilias played seven NRL games in the 2025 season. Unfortunately, he could not increase this number, as his last appearance was in St George Illawarra's ANZAC Day defeat against the Roosters in Round 8. Subsequently, he was part of the club's NSW Cup team, which reached the grand final but fell short against a powerful Warriors side.
