The NZ Warriors have made a slam dunk move by signing three new players for their NRLW comeback in 2025.
Queensland Origin star Emmanita Paki, double international Lavinia Tauhalaliku, and Kiwi-born Gold Coast Titans forward Matekino Gray are the latest additions to the team.
Paki, at just 21 years old, has signed on for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
Tauhalaliku, who is 25, has committed to 2025 and 2026 with a club option for 2027.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Gray will be suiting up for the first two years with a chance to extend to 2027 based on performance.
These signings bring the total up to eight, joining the likes of fullback Apii Nicholls, props Mya Hill-Moana and Harata Butler, hooker Capri Paekau, and second rower Laishon Albert-Jones.
Coach Ronald Griffiths is thrilled to have Paki back on his team, having previously coached her in Newcastle where she helped secure consecutive premierships in 2022 and 2023.
Despite a setback with an ACL injury last season, Paki's talent shone through as she made a triumphant return to the field with the Queensland team.
Her experience and skills will be invaluable to the Warriors as they gear up for their NRLW comeback.
As the team prepares for the upcoming season, fans can expect some top-notch performances from these new signings, who are sure to add depth and talent to the squad.
With these exciting additions, the NZ Warriors are poised to make a strong comeback and make waves in the NRLW in 2025.
