New favourites for the services of Reagan Campbell-Gillard have been revealed, with the St George Illawarra Dragons reportedly leading the pack.

However, a sticking point has emerged over the length of any potential contract.

According to zerotackle.com, the Parramatta Eels' prop is currently under contract in Western Sydney for next season, but has been given the green light to explore other options by the club.

After a disappointing season where Campbell-Gillard's performance fell below par compared to his previous seasons with the Eels since his switch from the Penrith Panthers, the club has decided to give him the tap on the shoulder.

Incoming coach Jason Ryles is looking to rebuild the club and manage an unruly salary cap, prompting the decision to potentially part ways with the former Origin prop.

The Dragons, led by coach Shane Flanagan, are keen to secure a big-name middle like Campbell-Gillard to bolster their lineup.

In addition to the pursuit of Campbell-Gillard, the Dragons are also eyeing Corey Horsburgh from the Canberra Raiders and Daniel Saifiti from the Newcastle Knights, as part of their recruitment drive.
