Aublix Tawha, a new face in the Dolphins forward pack, has taken a unique path from Dutch rugby union to the NRL.

His journey has surprised no one at the club except himself, especially as he makes his debut this year.

According to nrl.com.au, Tawha is set to come off the bench in Round 19 against the Sharks for his third NRL game.

Typically a second rower, Tawha made his NRL debut in Round 16 against the Knights, where he came off the bench in Perth.

He followed that with an impressive performance by starting at prop in a significant 50-28 victory against the Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium.

As the Dolphins prepare to face the Sharks in Sydney on Friday night, they aim to solidify their position in the top eight.
