Westpac NSW Blues coach Laurie Daley has announced a 20-man squad for the opening game of the 2025 Ampol State of Origin series, set to take place at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on May 28.
Notably, Max King, a 28-year-old prop from Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, will make his debut, joining the team as a bench player.
Additionally, Isaah Yeo, the captain of the Penrith Panthers and Australian representative, has been appointed as the skipper for the Blues, marking his first time in this leadership role.
The squad also lists three emergencies: Campbell Graham from the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Stefano Utoikamanu from the Melbourne Storm, and Haumole Olakau'atu from the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
