After weeks on the sideline, Nathan Cleary is gearing up for his big NRL comeback with the Penrith Panthers.
The star halfback is set to take the field against the Dolphins this Sunday, after a 10-week hiatus due to a pesky hamstring injury he aggravated back in Round 10.
Cleary's injury woes began in Round 3 when he strained his hamstring, and unfortunately, he re-injured it in May.
But now, after some careful recovery time, he's raring to go and ready to make his mark on the field once again.
During his time off, Cleary had the chance to spend more quality time with his girlfriend Mary Fowler, who's been through her own trials and tribulations in the Women's Super League.
Fowler recently jetted off to Spain for the Matildas' training camp ahead of the Paris Olympics, after playing in a friendly match against Canada.
The Panthers will no doubt be thrilled to have their playmaker back in action, as Cleary's return will undoubtedly bring a new level of skill and determination to the team.
It's time for Cleary to shake off the rust, step onto the field, and show everyone what he's capable of.
Australia is about to witness the comeback of a true footy legend.
