In a heartwarming tale of resilience and triumph, Ronaldo Mulitalo is set to mark his 100th game for the Sharks with a showdown against the Broncos - the same team he faced in his NRL debut back in 2019.

It was a true baptism of fire for the young winger, thrown into the fray after an injury sidelined Josh Dugan just before kick-off at Suncorp Stadium.

Like a seasoned veteran, Mulitalo has since become a shining star in the NRL, notching up an impressive 74 tries and even donning the black jersey for New Zealand.

But his journey to success was far from easy, with humble beginnings in a leaky garage in south Auckland where his family's possessions were sometimes stolen under the cover of night.

Despite the odds, Mulitalo's gratitude and humility shine through, with a reputation for giving back to the community that raised him.

As he prepares to take the field for his milestone match, surrounded by a sea of supporters from his hometown in Ipswich, it's clear that Mulitalo's love for the game and his club runs deep.
