St George Illawarra Dragons' playmaker, Kyle Flanagan, finds himself in hot water after an alleged biting incident has landed him in front of the NRL judiciary.

The incident occurred during a fiery clash against the Canterbury Bulldogs on Saturday night, with footage suggesting Flanagan sunk his teeth into the nose of Bulldogs' skipper, Stephen Crichton, leaving him with a bloody schnoz.

Facing a dangerous contact charge from the NRL's match review committee, Flanagan now has the tough decision of pleading guilty or not guilty.

All eyes will be on him as he fronts the judiciary on Tuesday evening to learn his fate.

In a bid to clear his name, coach Shane Flanagan has come to his son's defense, denying any foul play and hinting at a not guilty plea.

With the rugby league world buzzing over the alleged bite, all we can do now is sit tight and wait to see how this jaw-dropping saga unfolds.
