Morgan Harper is making a return to Australia after his one-year stint with the New Zealand Warriors, having recently signed a contract with a prestigious rugby league club.

Though Harper was brought in as a late addition to the Warriors for the 2025 NRL season to enhance their outside backs roster, he did not make any appearances in the main competition. Instead, he played exclusively in the NSW Cup, leading to an unexpected end to his time at the club.

As he joins the Jets, Harper brings an impressive record with him, having notched up six tries, six try assists, 48 tackle busts, ten line-breaks, and completed 283 tackles, accumulating a total of 2,585 running metres, averaging 117 per match across 22 reserve-grade games in 2025.

Since debuting in 2019, Harper's career has included tenures with several teams: the Canterbury Bulldogs from 2019 to 2020, the Manly Sea Eagles from 2020 to 2023, and the Parramatta Eels in 2024. He boasts a total of 64 appearances, taking on various roles primarily in the centres and back-row positions.

In addition to his NRL matches, Harper represented the Junior Kiwis in 2018, participated in the NSW Residents team, and played two games for the Maori All Stars in 2022 and 2023.
