Super League: Mikey Lewis Extends Hull KR Contract Until 2030

Mikey Lewis, the standout player for Hull KR, has officially quelled speculation about a move to the NRL by signing a significant five-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2030.

According to skysports.com, the 24-year-old, who earned the prestigious Man of Steel award for 2024, has demonstrated remarkable skill and performance for the Rovers, contributing to their journey to the Super League Grand Final last season, where they were narrowly defeated by Wigan Warriors.

This season, Hull KR secured the Challenge Cup and the League Leaders' Shield, making Lewis's commitment a tremendous asset for the organization.

"It's a massive honour. This place feels like home for me," Lewis commented on his new contract. "The way I've seen this club change since the day I started my first pre-season in 2018, it feels a long time ago."

He added, "There's been a massive turnaround at this club and I want to continue to be a part of that journey. I feel like the east side of Hull have really brought me in as one of their own. The city and the club mean everything to me."

Lewis expressed his ambition for the future, stating, "I want to create my own legacy here at Hull KR and win trophies with the team I've got around me. I don't see why we can't do that and create the own legacy as a team."
