"It's a real blow for us, he's a key player for us and we're really going to miss his leadership on the field," Bellamy added.

With Munster sidelined, the Storm will have to rely on other members of their talented squad to step up and fill the void left by the star playmaker.

Despite the setback, Bellamy remains confident in his team's ability to overcome adversity and continue their impressive record in round 1 clashes.

"We've got a strong squad and I have full faith in the boys to get the job done," Bellamy stated.

While the absence of Munster is a setback, the Storm will look to rally together and show their resilience against a tough Penrith side.

It's a challenging start to the season for Melbourne, but if there's one thing we've learned from the Storm over the years, it's that they always find a way to come out on top."
