Cooper Clarke is the first Melbourne Storm player since Harry Grant in 2020 to win the Rugby League Players Association Rookie of the Year award.
The 20-year-old made his NRL debut in Round 1 and appeared in all 24 matches during his first season under Craig Bellamy.
Clarke recorded two tries, 56 tackle breaks, 988 post-contact metres, 2,237 running metres and 637 tackles.
His performances quickly made him an important part of Melbourne's forward pack.
Clarke also received recognition at Storm's Player of the Year Awards last week.
He won the Billy Slater Rookie of the Year award at that ceremony.
The latest honour places Clarke alongside Cameron Munster, who received the RLPA award in 2015, and Grant as Storm winners.
Melbourne congratulated Clarke on completing a remarkable debut campaign in the NRL.
