May on the move: Rabbitohs eye potential return

Former NRL outside back Taylan May is reportedly close to returning to the competition after being seen touring facilities at the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

According to zerotackle.com, May, who has previously played 30 NRL games, saw his career interrupted due to an off-field incident.

However, he has since been cleared through legal proceedings, and both the NRL and ARLC confirmed that he can return if he secures a contract.

While no new contracts for the current season can be submitted after June 30, May may not have to wait until then to find a new team.

Channel 9's Danny Weidler indicates that May's tour of the South Sydney facilities is a promising sign.

This follows earlier reports connecting him to the club, as the former Penrith Panther and Samoan international could fill a crucial role for a team in need of outside back reinforcements.
