Warriors playmaker Te Maire Martin has admitted to feeling rusty in his return to the NRL following a five-month injury lay-off.

However, he is now confident that he has shaken off the rust just in time for the team's upcoming semi-final clash.

The Warriors, as reported by warriors.kiwi, will be facing either the Knights or Raiders at Go Media Stadium in Auckland.

In the opening week of the finals, they were defeated by the Panthers, with star halfback Shaun Johnson missing from Andrew Webster's side.

Despite Johnson's absence, Martin claims that it did not affect the team's preparation for the Panthers loss.

He believes that they can regroup and bounce back in time for their home final.
