Dolphins NRL has given an update on player injuries ahead of the 2025 pre-season, with a few key players facing setbacks but expected to be back on the field in time for the new season.
Jeremy Marshall-King unfortunately won't be in contention for the New Zealand Test team in the Pacific Cup due to recent surgery, but he is on track to return to training in November after a minor knee clean out.
The senior players will be back for the pre-season, and Marshall-King is expected to hit the ground running.
Connelly Lemuelu has also had to undergo a shoulder reconstruction, which typically requires a five-month rehabilitation process.
However, he is aiming to be back for the pre-season trials and hopefully in fine form for round one of the season with the Dolphins.
Kenny Bromwich is the latest player to have minor surgery, this time on his elbow.
Like Marshall-King, he is set to return to training in November and get back into the swing of things before the season kicks off.
Despite these setbacks, the Dolphins are staying optimistic and preparing to tackle the upcoming season with full force.预测 "As they say in the rugby league world, no pain, no gain! These boys will be back stronger than ever, ready to hit the ground running and make their mark on the field," said head coach.
