Injuries force Maroons into Game Three changes

LeagueNews.co | Nick Loken

In response to injuries, Queensland coach Tahnee Norris has made significant lineup changes as the Maroons prepare for Game Three in Newcastle, aiming to avoid a series whitewash.

Notably, fullback and co-captain Tamika Upton will be absent due to a hip injury sustained during their Game Two loss in Sydney.

In her place, Hayley Maddick will make her Maroons debut.

Joining the squad is Sharks half Georgia Hannaway, who will come off the bench.

Additional adjustments include Lauren Brown shifting to halfback, while co-captain Ali Brigginshaw moves to lock, taking over from Keilee Joseph, who has been ruled out for medical reasons.

Destiny Brill, who previously played from the bench in Game One, is set to start at hooker.

Additionally, new Wests Tigers signing Emily Bass has been added to the squad, taking the No.19 jersey.
