Questions have arisen regarding the handling of Tom Trbojevic's injury during the Manly Sea Eagles' match against Parramatta, where he suffered a knee injury after already missing a game due to hamstring tightness.

Trbojevic had reportedly hurt his right knee the day before the game, and then injured his left knee just 20 minutes into the match.

Despite struggling on until half-time, he did not return after the break, with suspicions of a torn MCL.

Coach Anthony Seibold commented on the injury, estimating a five to six-week recovery period, potentially extending to eight weeks depending on the severity.

Seibold faced criticism for allowing Trbojevic to continue playing for another 20 minutes after the injury, with some questioning why he was allowed to play at all given the strapping on his right knee.

Andrew Johns had asked Trbojevic in a pre-match interview about the strapping, to which Trbojevic responded that he felt fine and ready to play.

The decision to leave Trbojevic on the field despite the injury has raised concerns about player welfare and appropriate management of injuries during games.
