The Manly Sea Eagles faced significant challenges in 2025, with little going in their favor.
With the impending exit of captain Daly Cherry-Evans, ongoing instability at the fullback position, and disappointing performances on the field, the Sea Eagles are having a tough season.
Critics and fans have directed their frustrations towards head coach Anthony Seibold, and it appears some players may also be seeking his removal.
Journalist Danny Weidler from Nine reported concerns regarding player agent George Mimis, who allegedly is orchestrating a movement among some players to push for Seibold's sacking, leading to a climate of anxiety within the club.
"I don't want to be rude when I say this, but there is an extreme paranoia at Manly at the moment about one of the leading player agents in the game, George Mimis, who has got one of the biggest companies in the game," Weidler stated during an episode of 100% Footy.
He added, "[Manly] are saying they 100 per cent support Anthony Seibold to be the coach."
