Manly's Faulalo earns Toa Samoa call-up

Faulalo selected for Toa Samoa

Toa Samoa will begin its 2026 Rugby League World Cup campaign against France at CommBank Stadium on Friday 16 October.

Clayton Faulalo has been selected in the 23-man squad, earning his international debut after a strong season with Manly Warringah.

The 26-year-old scored eight tries in 14 appearances and covered several backline positions, including five-eighth in Manly's final three NRL rounds.

He was also part of Toa Samoa's extended squad for last year's Pacific Championships.

The squad includes Shawn Blore Anae Ulesese (Melbourne Storm), Stephen Crichton (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs) and Sua Fa'alogo (Melbourne Storm).

Also selected are Faulalo (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles), Chanel Harris-Tavita (Warriors) and Benaiah Ioelu (Sydney Roosters).

Connelly Lemuelu (Dolphins), Spencer Leniu (Sydney Roosters) and Jarome Luai (Wests Tigers) are named.

Francis Manuleleua (Newcastle Knights), Deine Mariner (Brisbane Broncos) and Ata Mariota (Canberra Raiders) also make the squad.

Newcastle Knights teammates Greg Marzhew and Jermaine McEwen join Francis Molo (Dolphins).

Junior Paulo (Parramatta Eels), Pasami Saulo (Newcastle Knights) and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (Dolphins) are included.

The remaining selections are Izack Tago (Penrith Panthers), Jazz Tevaga (Wakefield Trinity), Brian To'o (Penrith Panthers), Enari Tuala (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs) and Ronald Volkman (Parramatta Eels).
