In a disappointing turn for the Manly Sea Eagles, star outside back Reuben Garrick has announced he will not make a comeback this NRL season. This news follows a tough loss to the Wests Tigers over the weekend, where Garrick sustained a shoulder injury while tackling an opponent.
Speaking with The Daily Telegraph, Garrick shared his status, stating, "I'm going to try and rehab the shoulder, but yeah, I won't be playing." His comments highlight the severity of his injury and his plans for recovery.
Garrick elaborated on the injury, noting, "I don't know the terminology of it all, but I know it's painful... it's a subluxed shoulder, an injury you can try to rehab, there are a few ligaments that are torn." His insights suggest that while he is focused on rehabilitation, the road to recovery may be challenging.
