The Manly Sea Eagles have strengthened their forward lineup by signing a former St George Illawarra Dragons back-rower on a two-year deal.
Jackson Shereb, one of nine players released by the Dragons at the conclusion of the 2024 NRL season, showcased his skills with the Norths Devils in the QLD Cup during the 2025 season, where he had an impressive run.
Over 20 matches with the Devils, he scored six tries, achieved seven line-breaks, averaged 97 running meters per game, and completed 577 total tackles with a 92.3 percent efficiency rate.
This performance has earned the 23-year-old a two-year contract with the Manly Sea Eagles, extending through to the end of the 2027 season.
Although he has yet to make his debut in first-grade football, Shereb developed through the Dragons' pathway, competing in the Under-19s SG Ball Cup for the Illawarra Steelers before advancing to the Under-21 Jersey Flegg Cup.
Primarily positioned as a back-rower, he has shown great potential on the field and has the ability to play in the centres, highlighting his versatility as a player.
