The Manly Sea Eagles are entering a significant transformation following a disappointing season in which they failed to reach the finals.
As part of this revamp, the club has announced the departure of three football staff members, including former NRL player Brett Kimmorley, head of football Peter Gentle, and coaching leadership member Aaron Greaves, as reported by The Daily Telegraph.
Kimmorley had taken on the role of NSW Cup coach this season after leaving his previous position leading the Wests Tigers NRLW team for personal reasons.
Under his management, the Sea Eagles struggled, securing only two wins throughout the season and finishing at the bottom of the NSW Cup standings.
He had been considered a candidate for interim head coach when Anthony Seibold was dismissed after just three matches into the season.
Greaves joined the club at the behest of Seibold and brought with him a wealth of experience as an AFL leadership coach.
Gentle's tenure saw him transition from recruitment manager to head of football, having earlier served as Brisbane's interim coach in 2020.
As the club looks towards rebuilding, the changes in staff reflect a clear intent to alter its trajectory after a challenging season.
