In a gritty match-up, Hull KR managed to clinch a hard-fought victory against Wakefield Trinity, but not without a setback as their star player, Man of Steel Mikey Lewis, succumbed to an ankle injury.

The game took an unexpected turn when a miraculous kick from Lewis was caught in the unpredictable wind, bouncing off the crossbar and landing perfectly for Tom Davies to snatch and score his 100th career try.

The home team managed to claw back with a penalty goal from Max Jowitt before Tom Johnstone elegantly dived over in the corner to even the score.

It was Lewis who showcased his resilience by bulldozing through defenders to regain the lead for Hull KR, only to unfortunately suffer a painful injury in the process.

Despite a late try from Oliver Pratt in the corner, it was Lewis' heroic effort that ultimately sealed the win for his team, showcasing true determination on the field.
