In a disappointing outcome for the Western Suburbs Magpies, they were unable to secure a victory against the Warriors in Round 24 of the Knock On Effect NSW Cup.
The Magpies suffered a 26-16 defeat, unable to match the Warriors' performance on the field.
The first points for the Magpies came in the 38th minute courtesy of Josh Feledy, who made his NSW Cup debut in this game.
Feledy, an 18-year-old centre, has showcased his talent in previous matches for Balmain's SG Ball Cup and Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg Cup teams throughout the season.
Despite leading 16-4 at halftime, the Warriors came back strong in the second half, led by fullback Setu Tu, who scored two consecutive tries.
The Magpies fought back with late tries from Aitasi James and Tommy Talau, showing determination and a potential comeback.
However, the Warriors' lead proved insurmountable, and they emerged as the victors with a final score of 26-16.
