Panthers five-eighth Jarome Luai has taken to Instagram to mock the New Zealand Warriors following Penrith's dominant win.

Luai posted the result of the match on his Instagram story with the caption, "Up the Pahs," a play on the catchphrase "Up the Wahs" that has been popularized by the Warriors.

This appears to be part of a larger messaging strategy, as the Panthers' social media team has also adopted the phrase.

However, the club faced backlash on social media for what fans perceived as arrogance.

Many fans expressed support for the Warriors, who have endured years of hardship and sacrifice.

One fan questioned the club's sense of humor, asking, "Who at the club thought this was funny?"
