Luai tackles Blues snub: My form's a bit off

Wests Tigers co-captain Jarome Luai recently addressed his omission from the NSW Blues for the upcoming State of Origin match, expressing disappointment but acknowledging the need to improve his form.

Luai was overlooked by coach Laurie Daley, who chose a halves pairing of Mitchell Moses and Nathan Cleary instead.

Luai reflected on the news after a loss to the South Sydney Rabbitohs, admitting, "I'm disappointed and if I wasn't I'd probably be scared.

Disappointed because I know what I'm missing out on." He found the conversation with Daley to be straightforward, stating, "It was all right...

I heard what I needed to hear and I'm content with it because I know I'm in control of the selection at the end of the day."

Despite his disappointment, Luai recognizes that his performance has not met his expectations and is determined to improve for the future.
