"He is a quality person and a quality player.

The boy is lost at the moment and it's heartbreaking to see," Hagipantelis continued.

"But I promise you this, I will do everything I can to help him and the Tigers work things out."

Despite the turmoil surrounding the club, Hagipantelis remains optimistic about the future, drawing on historical references to highlight the resilience of Rugby League teams.

"Rugby League is a tough sport, both on and off the field.

We've seen teams face adversity before, and they've always come out stronger," he said.

As for the dramatic call to sack the entire board, Hagipantelis acknowledged the impact it may have on his ability to support Nofoaluma.

"It's a tough situation.

Sometimes in sport, things happen that are out of the control," he said.

"But I won't let that stop me from doing everything I can to support David, both as a friend and a former chairman."

When asked about the Australian slang used by Hagipantelis, he responded with a chuckle, "Well, mate, I reckon I've been around the footy scene long enough to pick up a few sayings.

Adds a bit of character to the conversation, don't you think?"
