"Maybe not his preferred position": Bird reveals thoughts on Lomax's shift to the wing
St George Illawarra Dragons' versatile player Jack Bird has opened up about Zac Lomax potentially feeling out of place on the wing, but believes he will thrive with time.
According to reports from zerotackle.com, Lomax stood out in the Red V's victory over the Gold Coast Titans in Round 1.
In a bold move by coach Shane Flanagan before the season started, Bird was shifted to the centres, pushing Lomax to the wing.
While Lomax has outwardly accepted the change, rumors swirl that he is feeling discontent behind the scenes and is exploring options with clubs like the Sydney Roosters and Parramatta Eels showing interest.
