Jacob Liddle, the future hooker for St George Illawarra Dragons, has confirmed his commitment to the team by signing a three-year contract extension that will keep him with the club until the end of 2028.
This decision comes after an impressive season where Liddle has made significant contributions off the interchange bench, particularly when filling in for Damien Cook.
Previously with the Wests Tigers, the 28-year-old Liddle has played a total of 129 first-grade matches, 56 of which were with the Dragons.
He is being viewed as a potential successor to Cook as the primary hooker for the Dragons once Cook decides to retire.
Coach Shane Flanagan praised Liddle's contributions, stating, "Jacob has become a really important player for us since joining the club, and his form this year has been outstanding".
This contract extension solidifies Liddle's role in the team and removes him from the open market.
