Leigh Leopards bounced back from their heavy defeat against Wigan with a 13-6 victory over Leeds Rhinos in the Super League.
The match at Headingley saw two tries from Edwin Ipape and Tom Amone secure the win for Leigh.
In a low-scoring first half, both teams managed to score a try each.
Ipape put the visitors ahead, but Jarrod O'Connor's try just before half-time gave the Rhinos a slight advantage going into the break.
However, Leigh quickly regained the lead in the second half through Amone's try.
Leeds' task became even more difficult when Sam Lisone was sin-binned.
Ben Reynolds' penalty and late drop goal sealed the victory for the Leopards.
Leigh's opening try came when Ipape broke through the Rhinos' defense and crossed the try-line.
Despite Reynolds' failure to convert the try, it was confirmed by the video referee.
Leigh's defense held strong, preventing Leeds from scoring, particularly when Tom Nisbet successfully claimed the ball after Aidan Sezer's high kick.
However, Leeds managed to take the lead just minutes later when O'Connor powered through Leigh's defense.
Rhyse Martin's successful conversion gave the Rhinos a half-time lead.
